Took out the page for Merchant Guild unless there is one other than the commercium. The events Dellar is talking about are over ten years ago, plus his rise through ranks of Daratan Guards, and the Commercium only grown large in last 20 years. The game states "merchant guilds" and then specifically states merchants paid for guards. It does not mention an single guild doing so.
