Antidas

Lord Antidas

Lord Antidas is the head of House Daratan and resides in Teron Palace.

Lord Antidas is the current and most likely the last Lord of House Daratan. It was prophesied that he would be the leader to restore Daratan to its original glory, and unwavering in his faith in the prophecy, Antidas undertook many daring attacks against Daratan's enemies. Unfortunately for both Antidas and his House, the prophecy failed to live up to its end of the bargain with disastrous consequences for House Daratan. With the loss of a fort and two entire legions, Antidas' domain was reduced to a crumbling town and a small regiment of guards, while the prospects of glory slowly faded away.

Background[ | ]

Prophecy[ | ]

Antidas' father had requested a reading when Antidas was born. His star-gazer had foretold that Antidas would be the one to bring glory to House Daratan and make it rise again. Man lived under the shadow of the prophecy all his life. He tried to follow the path set by his ancestors, but his time hadn't come yet and fate punished him for his arrogance. Feng told him that he needed powerful artefacts to secure a victory.

Testimonials

Linos

"Antidas is a lord and like the rest of them he lives in his own world, far removed from reality. Great lords are aware of it and surround themselves with capable generals and administrators, heeding their counsel. Lesser lords believe in their own superiority and tend to dismiss opinions of others. Like Antidas."

Linos

"Gaelius has all the makings of a great lord. Unfortunately, he's too clever for his own good and that makes him more dangerous than Antidas and Meru combined.

"Antidas wants a larger piece of the pie. Gaelius wants it all and unless we find a way to stop him, he'll get there eventually. As for Meru, he's just an idiot."
